Where do you live?
How many relatives do you have with BCM?
One younger brother.
What is your job?
I have worked so many different things in my life. Professional education as a baker.
Forklift driver (really), warehouse manager, furniture mover. Since 25 in IT for a Bavarian automotive manufacturer as external employee: System programmer and administrator, process manager, risk and security management, data security and data protection.
What are your hobbies?
I am probably interested in too many things. I like to cook. I like to read news from science. From all possible fields of science: biology, astrophysics, robotics, etc….. a long list.
My plants on the balcony. Playing computer games. and so on, and so on….
What is your most useful BCM tip?
Personally, I do not feel particularly restricted. You just have to try what works and what doesn’t.
Sometimes it takes several attempts to find a way for yourself. But there are also things that don’t work with BCM, you should not pay too much attention to them. That only limits you in your life.
For the parents: help your boys if necessary, but don’t take away the possibility to find their own way.
For the boys: never try to take the easy way, hoping for the compassion of others.
But do not hide your limitations either. If you cannot recognize something, tell the others immediately. Give them a suggestion what to do so that you can see it.
BCM does not stop you from having a good life
What is your greatest achievement so far?
To live an independent life. All difficulties, whether BCM is caused by it or not, I have managed in my life so far.
Not many people know this about me but…
When I tell it, it is no longer my secret…
