Beaucoup de personnes disent avoir attendu de nombreuses années avant de pouvoir obtenir un diagnostic clinique de monochromatisme à cônes bleus. Cela est dû au fait qu’il s’agit d’une maladie rare et qu’il est donc nécessaire de s’adresser à des oculistes spécialisés dans les maladies héréditaires de la rétine.
Nous reportons ci-dessous les noms de certains oculistes ayant visité d’autres patients atteints de monochromatisme à cônes bleus ou ayant participé à la recherche scientifique sur le monochromatisme à cônes bleus et sur des maladies similaires.
En particulier, certains oculistes effectuent actuellement des travaux de recherche financés par notre fondation et ont été choisis pour leurs compétences et pour leur intérêt vis-à-vis du monochromatisme à cônes bleus.
