Donation Information

We may obtain certain personal information when individuals make donations to BCMFF through the Sites. Information Collected Automatically When You Use the Sites

In addition to information you submit to us, we may collect certain information using automated means such as cookies, web beacons, and web server logs.

• Web beacons are small graphic images or other web programming codes that also may be known as “Internet tags” or “clear gifs”. We may use web beacons or similar technologies for a number of purposes, including tallying the number of visitors to our Sites, to monitor how users navigate the Sites, and determining how many emails that we send were actually opened or how many articles or links were actually viewed.

• A cookie is a piece of data that a website can send to your browser. The cookie may then be stored on your computer as an anonymous tag that identifies your computer when you visit a website. Many web browsers are set to accept cookies by default, but you may be able to set your browser to notify you before you receive a cookie, or to remove or reject cookies. Please be aware that if you disable cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of the Sites or other websites. Also, disabling cookies may invalidate opt outs that use cookies to recognize devices that have opted out.

The types of information we collect automatically may include IP addresses, device identifiers, browser characteristics, operating system details, language preferences, referring URLs, length of visits, and pages viewed. We may combine this automatically-collected information with other information we obtain about you.
